Memory Book Memorial Donor Family Quilt

Celebrating the lives of tissue and eye donors, the Memory Book Donor Family Quilt depicts a page from a memory book. Donor families created these special quilt blocks to remind them of their loved ones' unique talents, character traits and personalities. The quilt's "memory maker" is Sue Vollbrecht, a Monona, Wis., quilt designer, who selected several words from donor families' quilt block descriptions to tie together this beautiful "page" of memories. Through this quilt, RTI Donor Services - Allograft Resources Division and the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin acknowledge donors and their families who performed the ultimate act of kindness by giving the gift of life.
